begin at 11:30 a.m. All junior high students meet at E9, all High School class meet
at E10.

SENA: April devotional edition is available for you to pick up at
Pastor Ben''s office after the service.

Sabbatical leave: As a reminder, Pastor Ben is
still on a sabbatical leave until 5/18. During
Pastor''s Ben absence, youth ministry will be supervised and looked after by
Pastor Ken. Friday Night fellowship, Sunday service, and Sunday school will be coordinated by
youth ministry coworkers. Pray for God''s blessing and new strength upon Pastor
Ben during his sabbatical.

Praise the Lord! 10 brothers and sisters from our church receive baptism
today (Mandarin 4, Cantonese 1, Connections 5).

St. Petersburg Short
Term Mission (4/23-5/3):
7 people from our church will participate: Ps. Dalen Men, Ps. Kuo Fen Cho,

2018 Taiwan Short Term
Mission:  It
is from 7/21 to 8/3. This year, we will serve 19 Junior High Schools, over
4000 students in the West Coast Area. We encourage you and your whole
family to participate in this meaningful mission trip and to help pray for the

p.m.  In the morning, we provide Mandarin classes. In the afternoon, we will
strengthen students' English and Maths skills.  We welcome children who will enter

Mother Rest in the Lord:
Jennifer''s 97 year old mother passed away on 3/4 (Sun) in New Jersey.  Our church had sent flower wreath for the
memorial service on 3/10 (Sat).  Please
pray for God''s comfort to the family.

Rosemead Community Free Health Fair will be held on 4/28 (Sat) 11:00
a.m. ¡V 3:00 p.m. at church.  The event is
co-organized by the Asian Pacific Health Corps at UCLA and our church.  Please invite family, friends and neighbors
to come and get free health screenings and physician consultations! (See

FECA Social Concern Conference 2018

Praise the Lord!  The FECA Social Concern
Conference 2018 was held the past weekend.  The Association Social Concern
Committee appreciates the collaborative effort of all our member churches,
especially the host site, FEC of San Gabriel Valley.  Your sacrificial
support made this conference possible.  Special thanks to the FECA lead
pastor and all the FEC senior pastors for their leadership.   We thank the site manager, Peter Chan, and
all the work teams: ushers, worship teams, children's program, traffic
direction, technical support, dinner servers, and others who assisted with the
conference.  We thank the speakers, Grace & William Dyrness, the two
simultaneous translators, Roland Liou and Minh Tran, and all the ministry
groups that participated in the Saturday ministry sharing fair.  Thanks
also to Erin Wu for producing the promotion videos.  May we give thanks to
our Lord and be encouraged to listen deeply and act boldly as we serve with our
communities.     

Kairos Course (in Mandarin) at FECC - Cerritos Campus

FECA is co-sponsoring a Kairos Course on two weekends -  June 2,3
& June 9,10. The Kairos Course is a nine-session, interactive course on
world Christian mission, designed to educate, inspire and challenge Christians
to active and meaningful participation. Kairos looks at the four main areas of
mission concern which are the Biblical, Historical, Strategic and Cultural
dimensions of mission. For fee,
