WELCOME TO
CONNECTIONS
Worship
Service: We are combining with the
youth group to celebrate communion today.
Pastor Ken will begin a new sermon series on "Walking Confidently with
My Shepherd."
Spiritual
Maturity Class: We will continue our study from a book called,
"Union with God: The Way to Know and Enjoy God" by Rankin Wilbourne. We will discuss "Abide in Christ" and meet at
11:30 a.m. in the Youth
Center.
Christian
Foundation: This class will teach you how to study the Bible, how to pray and
discover God's will, how to be filled with the Spirit, and how to share your
faith. The class is led by Colin and his team in Grace Hall at 11:30 a.m.
Friday Night Small Group: Fridays at 8 p.m.
at church in E-9. Contact Tiffany Lin at squeakypoof@gmail.com for
more info. We will discuss the work of
the Holy Spirit this week.
Family
Life: We are continuing our

Saturday Prayer Meeting: Join us in communion with God and interceding
for the church on June 2, 9 a.m. in Grace Hall.
Promotion Sunday: We will celebrate those who are graduating
from high school and college on June 10 in our worship service.
YOUTH
Sunday Service: We will have a combined and communion service with Connections in Chapel
2 today. Sunday

right after in Youth Center. A combined Church anniversary service will be held
in the Main Sanctuary on 6/3 at 10:00 a.m.
Praise Night: Peter Lee and KCCC Praise team will be coming to lead us on Friday,
6/1 at 8 p.m. in Youth Center. Don''t

Sunday School: A school year-end celebration for
Sunday school
classes will be happening at 11:30 a.m. TODAY. All junior high students meet at E9,
Freshman and Sophomore class meets at E10, and Junior and Senior class at
Pastor Ben''s office. There will be no Sunday school until 7/8.
Promotion Sunday: All new parents of the incoming 6th graders are invited to join Promotion Sunday,
on 6/10 at 10:40 a.m. in Youth Center. All
small group leaders and Sunday school teachers are going to be
acknowledged and appreciated. A special BBQ is arranged after the service
together with Connections brothers and sisters at Youth Center patio.
Youth Summer Retreat 2018: There will be a retreat this summer at Pepperdine University
from June 29 to July 1st. The registration fee is $130. Please ask your parents and contact Pastor Ben for information to sign
up. If you have any questions, contact your Youth Leader, Sunday School
teachers, or Pastor Ben for more details.
SENA: The June devotional edition is available for you to pick up at Pastor
Ben''s office after the service.

2018 Anniversary Combined Service will be held on 6/3 (Sun) at 10:00
a.m. in Main Sanctuary. A celebration
luncheon will follow immediately after service.

Guide for the Muslim World: David
Garrison said, "We are in the midst of the greatest turning of Muslims to
Christ in 14 centuries of Muslim-Christian interaction. More than 80% of all
the Muslim movements to Christ in history have occurred in the past two to
three decades." You and I can seize the next 30 days, May 15 - June 14, to pray and add many more Muslims to God''s
kingdom. Use the prayer guide to change history in Jesus' name.
Meal Cards: To
celebrate our 32nd anniversary, the Deacon Board is adding one
meal card raffle draw before the end of the year. Please drop your meal
card after 11 or 12 meals in the cafeteria lunch collection box before the end
of May. Please buy meal cards from the scrip booth at the court
yard.
Register
for the Chinese School Summer Program Now! When: 6/18 - 8/17,
M. - F., 8:00 a.m. - 6:10 p.m. In the mornings, we provide Mandarin classes. In
the afternoons, we will strengthen students' English and Math skills. We
welcome children who will enter elementary school (K-6th) this fall.
Enroll by 5/31 to get the early registration discount. Please call the office

2018 Urbana Missions Conference will be held 12/27-31
in St. Louis, Mo. We encourage our high school and college students to attend
this conference. The super early bird registration deadline is on 6/30.
LMC will provide scholarship for those who apply for the early bird

for Pastors
The FECA Pastoral Fellowship will be holding
a retreat at the Serra Retreat in Malibu, from 3 to 6. This is a time for
sharing and discussion amongst the pastors, for dealing with issues, and for
strengthening the life of a leader. Please uphold your pastors in prayer so
that they can build up both their inner and outer lives.
Prayer for Muslims During Ramadan (5/15– 6/14,
2018)
 Ramadan is the month in the Islamic calendar when
Muslims are asked to fast and to increased spiritual reflection. A prayer calendar is inserted in the Sunday
Bulletin. Please join these prayers and
