Sunday Service: 

Pastor Ben will be speaking during combined Communion service @9:45 in Chapel 2 TODAY. Dr. Patrick Fung will be speaking in our combined service on May 31 @9:45 in the youth center. 

Friday Night Fellowship:

The study on the gospel of John has ended.  No more small group meetings after May 22.  Big group meetings will begin on July 10. Enjoy your summer time with the family.

Sunday school:

All Sunday school classes will have a class party in the youth center at 11:30 am TODAY.  There will be no more Sunday school after May 24.  Our combined junior high and high school Sunday school will resume on July 12 at 11:30 am in the youth center.  Invite your friends to join us. 

Youth Summer Retreat:

On June 12-14 @ Pepperdine University. Registration ends TODAY for $220/person.  Five youth members will get baptized in Malibu Beach on Saturday, June 13. 

Taiwan Mission training:

The training continues on May 30 in the youth center from 9 am - 3 pm.

40th Anniversary Combined Sunday Service: Praise the Lord!  This year marks the 40th Anniversary of FECSGV. The church will hold a combined service at 10:00 AM on June 7th, followed by a celebratory lunch. Please come to give thanks to the Lord for His grace and blessings! An 40th Anniversary gift will be given to each brother and sister on that day to commemorate this significant event.  Please pray and mark your calendar.

Mexico Short Term Mission Trip: FECSGV Mexico Short Term Mission Team will travel to Colonet, Mexico from 9/4 to 9/7 (Friday to Monday) to serve the local church and community. The ministries will include visits to migrant worker camps, a rehabilitation center, gospel sharing, a carnival outreach, food service, and haircut training. Brothers and sisters or families who feel led to participate, as well as those who would like to support the mission through material donations, are invited to contact and register with Elder Alex Ng (626-823-9478) or Elder Fan Lai (626-272-2965) on or before 5/31.  For donations, please make checks payable to “FECSGV” and indicate “STM - Colonet Mexico” in the memo. 2025 VBS (Vacation Bible School) is coming up! One week of fun in God's Word. From June 22-25, Mon-Thurs, 5:00pm-7:30pm (in person).  For ages 4-11yr. old (preschool-5th grades).  It's FREE!  Sign up early! The deadline to sign up is 6/07 (Sun). Please contact Children Ministry Director En Poli for registration.

Church APA Project (APA = A Place for All) Site Renovation Plan: This plan is to renovate the basement dining hall, kitchen, men's and women's restrooms, install a new elevator (connecting the basement, ground floor, and the second floor of the education building), and construct a courtyard canopy. The entire project is estimated at $1.97 million, and we have currently raised $344,138.29. The architect has reached out to the consultants to secure proposals to provide the design and documentation necessary to secure building permits from the city for the project.  Given God's entrustment of the church to fulfill the Great Commission and accelerate the gospel work, and the favorable location, many kingdom-wide joint meetings have been held at our church in recent years. For the advancement of God's kingdom and glory, the church plans to actively complete this site renovation project this year. We invite brothers and sisters to actively participate in intercessory prayer and give according to the abundance grace and inspiration they receive from God【First Fruit Offering】. FECA Theme for 2026: “ “FECA 2.0: Mobilizing a Gospel-Centered Movement”      

1. UK Short-Term Mission Trip Thanksgiving Report

We thank the Lord for His grace and faithfulness throughout this year’s UK Short-Term Mission Trip, held from 4/29 to 5/11. Our team consisted of 12 members, including 8 from FEC Arcadia, 2 from FEC SGV, and 1 from FEC Glendale, with Pastor Albert serving as the team advisor. During the trip, we ministered at four churches in York and Manchester.  The mission trip was richly fruitful as we experienced wonderful teamwork and clearly witnessed the work of the Holy Spirit throughout our ministry. We praise God that two teenagers accepted Christ, and many church members rededicated their lives to the Lord during the two revival meetings. We were deeply encouraged and touched by God’s Word and are sincerely grateful for everyone’s prayers and support.

2. Successful Sale of the FECA Montebello Office

Praise the Lord! 17 months after FECA listed the Montebello office property for sale in 2025, we are pleased to announce that escrow successfully closed on 5/19.  With the full support of the Senior Pastors Council, the diligent efforts of the FECA Governing Board, and the professional assistance and guidance of our real estate agent, the sale was completed smoothly. Through this transaction, FECA will be able to generate additional funding to further support FECA ministries, especially church planting and missions work.  We sincerely thank all brothers and sisters for your prayers throughout the entire process of the FECA’s property sale, as well as for your continual support and encouragement of FECA’s ministries.

3. FECSGV 40th Anniversary
