2027 Elders and Deacons Nomination and Budget Planning: will start on 9/6 (Sunday). Please pray for God’s blessing and guidance!

The 16th Phase Happiness Group Commissioning: Will be held from 9/6-11/13. Please pray for the Lord’s blessing so that many lost souls will be saved for Christ for God’s glory!

9/20 (Sun) Baptism & Children Dedication Sunday:  Please contact Congregational Pastors if you plan to receive baptism or to dedicate your children.

Church APA (A Place for All) Project: This project includes: (1) Renovation to the dining hall, kitchen, men’s and women’s restrooms in the basement. (2) Installation of a new elevator to connect the basement, ground floor and the second floor of the classroom building. (3) Construction of a canopy over the courtyard.  The entire project is estimated at $1.97 million, and we have currently raised $550,664.00, plus an additional $187,950.00 from pledge cards. Vision: Given God’s entrustment of the church to fulfill the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations, the favorable location to serve CHILDREN, YOUTH, FAMILIES, SENIORS AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE through education and community services, and to facilitate COLLABORATED KINGDOM MINISTRIES for the advancement of God’s kingdom and glory, the church plans to actively complete this site renovation project this year. We invite brothers and sisters to count the abundant grace they have received from God in the past, and actively participate in intercessory prayer and giving for the project. Please make checks payable to "FECSGV" with the remarks "APA Project". For credit card giving, please go to the church's giving website and select "APA Project". FECA Theme for 2026: “ “FECA 2.0: Mobilizing a Gospel-Centered Movement”      

1. FECA Pastoral Fellowship

The 3rd Quarter FECA Pastoral Fellowship will be held on Thursday, September 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at FEC SGV. We are grateful to have Pastor Albert Ting, Senior Pastor of FCBC Walnut, and Pastor Hanley Liu, Associate Senior Pastor/English Pastor of FCBC Walnut, share on the topic, “Empowering the 2nd Generation in a Chinese Church.” May the Lord bless our gathering with meaningful fellowship, fruitful discussions, and a beautiful time of connection and encouragement.

2. The FECA Senior Pastors Council (SPC) Meeting

The SPC will meet on Friday, 9/4, at 10 a.m. at the FECA office. Please pray that the Lord will freshly anoint each participating pastor with His Spirit, giving them hearts that are attentive and obedient to His leading. May the Holy Spirit guide their time together with divine wisdom, unity in Christ, and clarity of vision, so that all planning and decisions may align with God’s perfect will and advance the purposes of His kingdom.

3. FECA Social Concern Ministry — 2027 World Vision “LA Charity Half Marathon: Run for Clean Water”
