YOUTH

Happy Chinese New Year: Enjoy your time with family to celebrate Chinese New Year. There's no Sunday school TODAY!

2013 Winter Retreat: Bring your sleeping bag, luggage, Bible, journal, pen, and your personal medication as we will begin our retreat on Friday, 2/15 - 7:30 p.m. @ Youth Center. Those who will not be joining retreat can go home after the session at 9:30 p.m. The bus will pick us up the next day at 9 am and return back to the youth center on Monday, 2/18 at 3 p.m. In case of emergency, your parents can call Arrowhead Ranch at 909.337.7265 or log on to its website at www.arrowheadranchconferencecenter.com to get more detailed information.

No Sunday Service and Sunday school: There will not be a regular youth Sunday service and Sunday school on 2/17. You can join your parents to worship at their Sunday service.

2013 CIA Winter Retreat(2/15-18):  ¢åe will have a joint retreat with FEC Glendale this year. Praise God for 66 participants from CIA and 67 from FEC Glendale attending our annual Youth winter retreat at Arrowhead Ranch. Please pray for God's blessing upon our youth as they spend the weekend learning more on God's Word and how to become His disciples. Irene Cho will be the main speaker during our retreat. Our youth will have a sleepover at church on Friday, 2/15 as we begin our retreat opening session and catch the bus to Arrowhead Ranch the next morning to join with FEC Glendale youth. We will return to the youth center on Monday, 2/18 at 3 p.m.

All Church Financial Committee 1^st Meeting: will be held today at 1:15 p.m. in the Grace Hall.  The financial committee members are: Mindy Ying (Elder, Treasurer), Richard Chang (Finance Deacon), Alan Liang (Chair, Deacon), Allan Han (Elder, Personnel), Peter Chan (Elder, Mission), Kevin Chung (Deacon, Connections).  Please earnestly pray for them.

Alpine Winter Camp: Thank you for your prayers for CM's Alpine's Winter Camp. Please pray that the children will keep up with their commitment of doing daily devotion.

Children Medical Release Form: All CM Parents, please sign and turn in your children's Medical Release Form as soon as possible, if you have not yet done so. This will help us to be more prepared in serving your children.

Testimonies on Prayers Answered

The Spiritual Formation Committee is compiling testimonies of how your prayers were answered by God.  Your testimonies can touch people¡¦s hearts, manifest the love and glory of God, and encourage more people to pray fervently.  Please write your testimony either in English, Chinese, or both on a half sheet of paper and send it to Margaret Chuang at margaret.chuang@feca.org  by 2/28.

Charis Cross-cultural Leadership Development Program

We are once again planning the Charis Cross-cultural Leadership Development Program.  This is an intensive leadership training program in a cross-cultural context (rural China).  Program dates will be 7/19/2013 - 8/6/2013 (not including travel time).  Maximum number of participants: 16; Age: 14 and above; Cost: $1,350 per participant (not including airfare).  For more information and applications, contact U.S. Team Coordinator Ryan Hsu (FECC Youth Director) at ryan.hsu5@gmail.com, or send inquiries to tleung@feca.org.  Application deadline:  5/31/13.
