Worship Service:   We are away to Pepperdine University this weekend and there will be NO service today.  Pastor Ken will resume our study on "Loving Father" next Sunday.

Spiritual Maturity Class:  Karen will be teaching this class in Grace Hall today from Bill Bright's book, "A Handbook for Christian Maturity." Meet in Grace Hall, 11:30 a.m.

Next Baptism: If you want to follow Jesus in obedience and encounter a new spiritual power with Him talk to pastor Ken about baptism.  We will offer baptism class today at 11:30 a.m. in E-7.

YOUTH

Sunday Service:

Sunday service on 06.30 will be at the Pepperdine University. If you don't join our retreat, then attend Sunday service with your parents. Dr. Stephen Tzeng will be speaking on Sunday, 07.05.19.

Sunday School:

There is no Sunday TODAY. Our summer Sunday school will resume on 07.07.19.

Friday Night Fellowship:

We will have movie night on 07.05.19 @ 8:00 pm in Youth Center.  Invite your friends to join us. 

VBS volunteers needed:

Sign up with pastor Ben to volunteer for our VBS. Our VBS will be on 07.15-19.

SENA:

ALL CHURCH

Church Retreat: The Mandarin Congregation, Connections, and HOA are combined with the youth (CIA) and children's ministry for a three-day retreat this weekend, June 28-30 at Pepperdine University. We had a total registration of 253 people, including 115 from the MC, 46 from Connections, 55 youth, 26 children, and 11 from HOA. MC speaker: Pastor Chen, and English speaker: Steve Gladen. Praise the Lord we also baptized two youth at the retreat: Cassandra Huang and Stephanie Li.  It is great to spend some quality time with family and set aside time to hear God's voice away from the busyness of life.

VBS (Vacation Bible School) is coming up! One week of fun in God's Word. It's FREE! July 15-19, M-F, 5-7:30 p.m.  The deadline to sign up for FREE is Sunday, 6/30, but only if spots are available! After 6/30: $25/child.

Praise the Lord the total income from the Taiwan Missions Night Market fundraiser was $12,065 (before reimbursements)!  Thanks again to everyone who came to support: from selling food/drink/merchandise to eating, performing, playing, setup/cleanup, or just donating, we couldn't have done it without you!

Deacon Board is looking for a group of 6-8 volunteers to assist with administration from every congregation. Weekday commitment would include basic secretarial tasks and Sunday commitment would include helping with miscellaneous administrative tasks such as facilities usage. Members of the team will be required to attend a short training on a Sunday afternoon.
