YOUTH

Sunday Service:

Pastor Ben continues the sermon series on the gospel of Mark TODAY and 08.18.19.

Sunday School/ Ministry Team sign up:

There is no Sunday school TODAY. We are inviting all youth members to hear from each ministry leader on how you get involved in a ministry the Lord calls you to be. You can sign up after the promotion Sunday at 11:30 A.M. in Youth Center. The ministry team training will be conducted on Sunday, 08.18.19. ministry team leaders will do the promotion and sign up for new members to join.

Friday Night Fellowship:

Pastor Ben will lead the big group discussion on 08.16.19 at 8:00 P.M. in Youth Center. We plan to go to Ultra Zone Laser Tag on Friday, 08.23.19.  Please bring $10 for the game. We leave church by 8:00 P.M. Invite your friends to come!

YM Annual Parents Meeting:

Inviting all youth ministry parents to come and join our annual meeting on Sunday, 08.25.19 at 1:00 P.M. in Youth Center. All Sunday school teachers and small group leaders are going to be introduced to all parents.  Don't miss out!

ALL CHURCH

Deacon Board Meeting will take place on 8/11 Sunday at 1:30pm at Grace Hall. Please keep the meeting in your prayer.

Deacon Board/Admin reminders: 

1. We recommend that all fellowship groups at church toss the trash bags into the big trash bin at the corner of south parking lot.  Please stop tossing the trash bags to the courtyard trash bin.  This is to reduce the admin work load, and make our church more eco-friendly.    

2. Summer times, please be sure to turn off AC (fan on auto always), after each meeting.  Thank you all for walking an extra mile and let's remind each other to protect church environment.  

3. From now on, church office will recycle the batteries internally only. If you need to recycle batteries, please check with city or county libraries for free services. 

Sunday Lunch!  Church is providing Sunday lunch voucher for $30 each. Yellow voucher includes 10 meals plus 1 free meal. Green environmentally friendly voucher includes 10 meals plus 2 free meals, only available for individuals who provide your own container.  We encourage everyone to bring your own containers to care for our planet. If you pay with cash, each meal is $3. Kids under 5 years old are free. Individuals who use the lunch voucher are eligible to enter for 2019 raffle at the end of the year.  Please head over to our church gift card booth for purchase.

Senior Pastor Joshua Cheng is in Taiwan leading the short-term mission team from 7/19-8/3.  He will take leave afterward until 8/13. During his absence, Cantonese Pastor Tracia Wong will be in charge of all church matters. Please keep our pastors in your prayers.

AGAPE CARING CENTER

Annual Blood Drive: This year is scheduled on Sunday, September 8.  If you are over age 17, weigh at least 110lbs., and have lived in U.S. for at least 3 years, no new tattoos in the last 12 months, no blood transfusion in the last 3 years, you can be a blessing to someone in need of blood.  For any questions on your eligibility or to sign up, please contact Karen Duh (karenduh@gmail.com), so she can pre-screen you.
