Service: We are resuming our
study on loving Father today and pastor Ken will speak on "Redeeming Father." We will have a guest speaker next Sunday
while pastor Ken is away for a week of vacation from July 31 to Aug. 8.
Spiritual Maturity

Hall today from Bill Bright's book, "A Handbook for Christian Maturity." Meet

Family Life Community: Family
Life is currently focused on "Building Community." We are having fun
watching videos, playing games, and spending time to share, pray, and support

YOUTH
Sunday Service: There will be a combined and communion service at 9:30 a.m. in Chapel 2
TODAY. Prepare your hearts to partake in this communion. Sunday dialogue
will follow in Youth Center. Pastor Ben will continue the sermon series on the
gospel of Mark on 08.04.19.
Sunday School: There is no Sunday TODAY. Our Sunday
school class will resume on 08.04.19 at 11:30 a.m. in Youth Center.
Friday Night Fellowship: Pastor Ben will lead the big group
discussion on 08.02.19 at 8:00 p.m. in Youth Center. Invite your friends
to come!
Ministry Team Promotion Sign Up: We are inviting all youth members to
hear from each ministry leader on how you get involved in a ministry the Lord
calls you to be. You can sign up after the promotion Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in
Youth Center TODAY. The ministry team training will be conducted on Sunday,
08.18.19.

Deacon Board is looking for a group of 6-8 volunteers to assist
with administration from every
congregation. Weekday commitment would include basic secretarial tasks and
Sunday commitment would include helping with miscellaneous administrative tasks

Sunday
Lunch! Church is providing Sunday lunch voucher for $30 each. Yellow voucher
includes 10 meals plus 1 free meal. Green environmentally friendly voucher
includes 10 meals plus 2 free meals, only available for individuals who provide
your own container. We encourage
everyone to bring your own containers to care for our planet. If you pay with
cash, each meal is $3. Kids under 5 years old are free. Individuals who use the
lunch voucher are eligible to enter for 2019 raffle at the end of the
year. Please head over to our church
gift card booth for purchase.
Senior Pastor Joshua Cheng is in Taiwan leading the short-term mission team from
7/19-8/3. He will take leave afterward until 8/13. During his absence,
English Pastor Ken Wong will be in charge of all church matters. Please keep
our pastors in your prayers.
AGAPE CARING CENTER
Annual Blood Drive: This year is scheduled
on Sunday, September 8. If you are over age 17, weigh at least 110lbs.,
and have lived in U.S. for at least 3 years, no new tattoos in the last 12
months, no blood transfusion in the last 3 years, you can be a blessing to
someone in need of blood. For any questions on your eligibility or to
sign up, please contact Karen Duh (karenduh@gmail.com), so she can pre-screen you.

Concert
Vision's Concert this year is going to be on Saturday, 8/17 at 7:00pm in
FEC Glendale. Please reserve the date on

Spiritual Exercises in Daily Life (September
2019 to June 2020)
Spiritual Exercises include daily one hour devotion, weekly one hour
spiritual direction, and monthly group meeting on Saturday, 9:00 - 10:15 a.m.
