Sunday Service:  Pastor Ben will be speaking for the 4th Advent message on 12/24. We will be serving the last
communion this year on 12/31 at Youth Center. Don''t miss out. 

Sunday school: There will be no more Sunday school class for this year. 
All Sunday school classes will resume on 1/14/18.

BBQ luncheon: Join our special BBQ luncheon to appreciate everyone who participates
and assists the CM Christmas program.   Stay after the service by the Youth Center for
BBQ.

Youth ministry Christmas celebration: Invite your friends to attend our Christmas celebration on, Friday,
12/22 @ 8 p.m. Potluck dinner will be served.  Brian Fang will do a white
elephant game after the Christmas message.

Special Thanksgiving Offering (11/26-12/31, 2017):  Each year,
apart from regular tithing and giving, our church will collect a special
Thanksgiving Offering to support urgent needs in the global mission field.
This year, 50% of the donation will be given to Northern Iraq Refugee
Relief and the other 50% will support JiAmerica Community Center (JCC)
in Da-Jia, a community center in Taichung, Taiwan.  Please mark "2017 Special Thanksgiving Offering"
on the memo of your donation check or on the offering envelope. We
have collected $11,392.80 so far. Please give generously to relieve the suffering
in the world!

  in cafeteria for $30 [10 meals].   We will give 1 free meal to
  each yellow card, and 2 free meals to each green card (for those who bring
  their own container).  If you buy 5 cards or more you will receive a
  gift.  Gift quantity is limited, first come first served.   If
  you wish to pay cash, it will be $3 per meal.  Free for children under
  five. Meal card users will have a chance to win the 2018 year-end raffle

2017 FECA Delegates Convention

Many thanks to the delegates who attended the
FECA Delegates Convention, and special thanks to the FEC-SGV's co-workers for
their help.  The delegates approved the
meeting minutes of the 2016 Delegates Convention and 2018 budget (general
operation) of $698,452.50. New Governing Board members were also elected: one
pastoral member ¡X Rev. Ben Pun (FEC-DB) as well as one lay member ¡X David Chang
(FECC).

Assistant Pastor Needed for the Chinese Church
of St. Petersburg

The Chinese Church of
St. Petersburg is looking for an assistant pastor to shepherd its congregation.


Applicants should have the following:

1. Strong burden for campus ministry.

2. Solid Mainland Chinese background preferred.

3. M.A. or M.Div. degree from an overseas
   theological seminary.

4. Good physical and mental health (adaptable to
   life and ministry in Russia).

5. Willing to serve in St. Petersburg for at
   least 9 months each year.

6. Willing to commit to the ministry for 3 to 5
   years.
