2018 Short Term Missions: Pray for the following Summer Mission
teams:

 ØTaiwan Hakka (8/23-31)

Give Thanks for
Mandarin and Cantonese Congregations' 8/5 Gospel Sunday:   Praise the Lord, 14 people have accepted Christ (6 from
Mandarin, 8 from Cantonese).   Glory be
to God!

2018 Taiwan Short-term
Missions (7/21-8/3) has been successfully completed! Thank God for
leading the Taiwan Short-Term Team to serve nearly 4,000 students in 19 Junior
High Schools and the Taichung Hui-Ming
Blind School on the west coast of Taiwan in the past 2 weeks. We had
the opportunity to lead more than a thousand students to accept Jesus.  During the mission trip, not only were the
local students blessed, but also the lives of 290 team members were blessed. In
addition, we now have a closer connection with the local churches and the
shepherds.  Apart from leading the
pastors of the churches to visit the English Character camps on campus, we also
visited the various community caring centers we established in the area.  At the Taipei Lutheran Truth Church, we also
met with nearly 30 pastors from the United States and Taiwan to discuss the
vision of the Taiwan West Coast spiritual revival and the opportunity for
partnership. This year we have witnessed how God has amazingly opened many
doors for us. He seems to be launching a great wave of gospel movement on the
west coast of Taiwan. May God''s purpose be accomplished!  Please pray.

Senior Pastor''s Itinerary: After leading the Taiwan
Short-Term Mission Team from 7/19-8/3, Pastor Joshua will take vacation leave
from 8/4-15. During his absence, Pastor Dalen will cover him for ministry at
church. Please pray!

Concert

Vision''s Concert this year is going to be on
Friday, 8/31 at 8 PM in FEC Arcadia. 
Please reserve the date on your calendar now. 

Pray
for Rev. and Mrs. Zhao

Rev. and Mrs. Zhao had set off to China to
visit the returnees on last Sunday night. They experienced lots of love and
care from our brothers and sisters during their home assignment. Please
continue to pray for their physical health as the weather in the country is
very hot, and also pray for their ministry too. May God use them to support and
establish the faith of every returnee so they will shine for the Lord!

Spiritual
Exercises in Daily Life (September 2018 to June 2019)

Spiritual Exercises include daily one hour
spiritual exercises; weekly one-hour individual spiritual direction; monthly
group meeting, 10 Saturday meetings from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. Registration
