CONNECTIONS

Worship Service:  We will join with the youth to partake communion today.  Pastor Ken will resume our study from the gospel of John, and the title of the message is "Go and Share Jesus."  May the Spirit of Jesus inspire and compel us to seek and save the lost.

Spiritual Maturity Class:  Karen will be teaching this class in Grace Hall today and she will teaching from Bill Bright's book, "A Handbook for Christian Maturity." Meet in Grace Hall, 11:30 a.m.

Abiding and Advancing the Kingdom of God Class:  We will meet today at 11:30 a.m. in E-7.  We will be using "The Upside Down Kingdom" by Donald A. Kraybill.

 YOUTH

Sunday Service: We will have a communion and combined service in Chapel 2 TODAY. Join our Sunday dialogue in youth center after the communion. Pastor Ben will continue the gospel of Mark sermon series on 3/31.

Sunday School: All Sunday classes meet at 11:30 a.m. TODAY.  Junior High students will be with Pastor Ben in E9. Freshman and sophomore will be with auntie Virg and auntie Anni in E10. Junior and senior will be with Dr. Glenn in youth center.

Easter program for after school kids: Inviting all youth to participate in serving our after school kids on Friday, 4/12. at 8:00 p.m.  Talk to Pastor Ben to join in. It's a good opportunity to share good news to them.

2019 Short-Term Mission Opportunities: Pray that the Holy Spirit will lead brothers and sisters to support missionaries, make pledges and participate in mission works for God's glory.  Let's make a commitment to declare God's name among the nations.

Church Meal Cards: Church Meal Cards are $30 for 10 meals. If you opt for a ¡¥green' meal card you will receive an additional two meals free for bringing your own reusable utensils and Tupperware.  Please don't forget to put your expired meal cards into the box downstairs for your chance at winning our end-of-the-year raffle.

All Church Cleanup Day: Do you love our church? On Saturday, 5/4 from 1:30 p.m. ¡V 4:30 p.m. we are hosting a church-wide cleanup day to show our love to our facilities in a practical way.  Please mark the date in your calendars and come help beautify and take care of our church!

Social Concern Forum on Supporting DACA

New Ministry in St. Petersburg

Galenin Institute of Technology (GIT), located at north St. Petersburg, has the largest number of Chinese students (over 1,000) in St. Petersburg.  It is a potential field for evangelism. It may become the base for church planting in the northern district. Under God's guidance, the St. Petersburg Church set up the "GIT Team" and plans to start an independent fellowship meeting near the dormitory in 2019 to evangelize the students. Currently, the co-workers are actively praying for the venue and the necessary funding. The estimated amount of funding needed included rental, equipment, & ministry cost, is USD$10,000.
