Saturday Prayer
Meeting: Join us on May 4 at 9 a.m. in Grace Hall to pray for
the church and the upcoming retreat in June.
Summer Retreat: Join us as we
spend the weekend, June 28-30 at Pepperdine University with our speaker, Steve
Gladen. Steve is the pastor of
small groups at Saddleback Church and oversees more than 3,500 adult small
groups at his church. He is the author of Leading Small Groups with PURPOSE, and Building
Healthy Small Groups in Your Church.

YOUTH
Sunday Service: There will be a combined and
communion in Chapel 2 with Pastor Ken Wong TODAY. Pastor Ben will continue the
sermon series on gospel of Mark on 5/5.
Sunday School: All Sunday classes will meet at 11:30
a.m.
Junior High students will be with Uncle Benny Lee in E-9. Freshman and
sophomore are with aunties Virg and Anni in E-10. Junior and senior are with
Dr. Glenn in youth center.
Friday Night Fellowship: We
will be having our regular small group on 5/3 at 8:00 p.m. in
youth center. Invite your friends to join us!
Summer Retreat: Come and join our Summer Retreat on 6/28-30
in Pepperdine University. Pastor Andrew Min will be our speaker. An
early registration will begin soon for $150/person. Sign up together with your
family. Don't miss out!
Baptism class: Pastor
Ben will start teaching baptism class on Sunday, 5/19
from 1-2 p.m.
Talk to your parents and pray for it before joining in. The baptism itself will
be conducted during retreat at Pepperdine University on 6/29 in
Malibu beach. Talk to Pastor Ben for more details.

Happiness Groups: Praise the Lord, 14 Happiness Groups (Mandarin Congregation 5,
HOA 9) have been sharing Gospel with Bests in the past 10 weeks, leading many
people to Christ. Glory be to God! The Celebration Sunday will be held on May
12, with Amy Sand as special speaker.
Please invite families and friends to come to hear the Gospel to receive
Christ as their personal Savior!

for the Chinese School Summer Program Today. Time: 6/17-8/16, M.-F., 8:00 a.m. -

p.m. We provide Mandarin, English and Math classes. There are also
Arts, Science and many fun activities. We welcome children K-6th to join

Church Cleaning Day: We are holding a church-wide cleaning day on
Saturday, 5/4, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Bring your family and your small group to clean God's house, a glorious
place where His beauty and glory can be visible in our city. Please
look at the all church announcement board for your small group cleaning
assignments and bring your cleaning supplies, hands, and feet to get to work!
Additionally, we are looking for volunteers who want to specifically help with
landscaping around the church. If you

Taiwan
Haka STM: Dates
are 7/4-7/12. Looking for people with a heart for missions to work with 40
Hakka youth in Taiwan this summer.
Language is not an issue as long as you have a willing heart to serve!

Mission: Dates are

Prayer for Muslims during Ramadan, May 6 -
June 4, 2019
Ramadan is the month
in the Islamic calendar when Muslims fast, pray,
and are open for spiritual reflection. The 2019 30-Day Christian prayer
guide for the Muslim World booklets have been delivered to pastors and
missions leaders of FECA member churches. A simplified prayer calendar
can be downloaded from our website (www.feca.org) and Right Now
Media (www.rightnowmedia.org/Training/Post/View/341792), and will
be distributed with the bulletin next Sunday.

Pre-Departure Training for The St. Petersburg
STM Team
The STM team to St.
Petersburg in September has been formed and will hold its first pre-departure
training on 4/27. The team consists of Rev. Albert Wong, Lead Pastor of FECA;
Shillane Chen, Vicky Zhu, Marie Phan, and Angela Yuan from FEC Diamond Bar;
Chit-Sang Tsang and Jiuan-Min Tsang from FEC Arcadia. Please pray for the
pre-departure training and the preparation of the short-term team. Ask God to bless each team member to love
each other and to be united as soldiers of Christ leading more young people to
God.
Belize STM
FEC
Arcadia Cantonese Congregation and FECA will be launching out a STM trip (4/30
– 5/6) to Belize in Central America to explore the needs of Cantonese ministry
and possibility of future church planting effort. The team is formed by
six members from four churches in the Los Angeles area. Trip activities
