Spiritual Maturity Class:  Karen will be teaching this class in Grace Hall today from Bill Bright's book, "A Handbook for Christian Maturity." Meet in Grace Hall, 11:30 a.m.

Abiding and Advancing the Kingdom of God Class:  We will meet today at 11:30 a.m. in E-7.  We will be using "The Upside Down Kingdom" by Donald A. Kraybill.

Summer Retreat:  "Creating Vibrant Communities" is our theme for the retreat, June 28-30 at Pepperdine University and our speaker is Steve Gladen.  Steve is the pastor of small groups at Saddleback Church and oversees more than 3,500 adult small groups at his church.   He is the author of Leading Small Groups with PURPOSE, and Building Healthy Small Groups in Your Church.  You can sign up with Paul today.

Promotion Sunday:  We will honor all the graduating high school seniors next Sunday in our worship service.

YOUTH

Sunday Service: We will have a communion and combined service TODAY.  Let's celebrate our church anniversary together on Sunday, 6/2 in the Main Sanctuary at 10:00 a.m.  A special lunch will be served in youth center after.  Don't miss out!

Sunday School: Join your class party TODAY.  There is no Sunday school next week. Enjoy your time with family to celebrate our church anniversary.

Friday Night Fellowship: We will be having a movie night on 5/31 at 8:00 p.m. in youth center. Invite your friends to join us!

Promotion Sunday: Get ready to welcome our new 6th grade on Sunday, 6/9 at 9:30 a.m. in youth center. Parents will join them at 10:45 a.m.  All Sunday school teachers and small groups' leaders will be introduced and appreciated as well. A special lunch will be served after. Please come!

Summer Retreat: Come and join our Summer Retreat on 6/28-30 in Pepperdine University.  Pastor Andrew Min will be our speaker.  An early bird registration fee is $150/person. Sign up together with your family TODAY!

Baptism class:  Pastor Ben will start teaching baptism class TODAY. Talk to your parents and pray for it before joining in. The baptism itself will be conducted during retreat at Pepperdine University on 6/29 in Malibu beach.  Talk to pastor Ben for more details.

33rd Anniversary Combined Service will be held on 6/2 (Sun) at 10:00 a.m. in the Main Sanctuary.  Celebration luncheon will follow immediately after service. Please pray!  Jesus said, "on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it" (Mt. 16:18).

2019 Taiwan Short Term Missions: Dates are 7/20 to 8/2. 

We will be serving at 21 middle schools and conducting a summer camp at the HuiMing School for the Blind. Register for the Chinese School Summer Program Today. Time: 6/17-8/16, M.-F., 8:00 a.m. - 6:10 p.m.  We provide Mandarin, English and Math classes. Pray for the FECA Annual Pastoral Retreat

The FECA Pastoral Retreat will be holding a retreat at the Serra Retreat in Malibu, from 6/2 to 6/5. This is a time for sharing and discussion amongst the pastors, for dealing with issues, and for strengthening the life of a leader. Please uphold your pastors in prayer so that they can build up both their inner and outer lives.

Prayer for Muslims during Ramadan, May 6 - June 4, 2019

Ramadan is the month in the Islamic calendar when Muslims fast,
pray, and are open for spiritual reflection. The 2019 30-Day Christian prayer guide for the Muslim World booklets have been delivered to pastors and missions leaders of FECA member churches.
